UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov is set to open his own restaurant and café, Papakha, in Downtown Dubai, a prime location that offers striking views of the Burj Khalifa.

Papakha in Dubai
The name Papakha holds deep cultural significance. It refers to a traditional fur or wool hat worn by men across the Caucasus and Central Asia, symbolising pride, courage, and honour.
Khabib famously wore his papakha after each UFC victory, turning it into an emblem of his Dagestani heritage. The restaurant now extends that same pride and symbolism to Dubai’s food culture.
Menu and design
Although details about the menu and interiors are still under wraps, Papakha is expected to blend modern sophistication with rustic touches inspired by the mountain landscapes of Dagestan.
